Barefoot
Hoof Trim - Silver Fiddle Ranch is dedicated to the
well being of all horse. We are advocates and participate in the growing
field of barefoot hoof care through education and providing barefoot
trims to Amador, Calavaras and El Dorado counties. We want to help
you learn how to take care of your horses feet naturally by encompassing
a whole horse lifestyle. The work of Jaime Jackson and Pete Ramey
have guided our philosophies along with the professionals we work
with on our own horses (including Mark Jeldness, Roger Budden, and
Debbie Dutra).
Clinics
and Workshops - We
pride ourselves on hosting clinicians and teachers who have a true
love of horses and who reflect their horse communication skills through
their unique individual disciplines. These professionals include horsemanship
trainers who see horses through the horses eyes, barefoot hoof care
practitioners who focus on the whole horse, saddle makers, Veterinarians
and those involved in various aspects of horse rehabilitation. Look

Lessons
& Training - Our
lesson and training program focuses on helping horse owners learn
to more effectively communicate with their horse as a unique individual;
working with the horse to see where they might need better communication
by their owner, and helping their owner to open channels of communication
for mutual understanding. Learning to ride and handle your horse in
balance is a primary focus of our program that results in happier
and safer horsemanship. This is a life long endeavor that we all as
friends of horses undertake and at Silver Fiddle Ranch, we want to
help you make this a part of your life with your horse. Phone the

Boarding and Stabling - At
our ranch, we offer limited month-to-month boarding for barefoot horses
and for horses whose owners are ready to transition their horse to
barefoot. Stabling is also available for horses participating in clinics
and workshops at Silver Fiddle Ranch.
Sales
and Leasing - Our training program gives our horses a
wonderful foundation in which to build their knowledge. Our horses
are ridden on the trails so they are solid trail mounts and are ready
for horse camping and other trail activities. Horses to lease are
expected to stay boarded at Silver Fiddle Ranch. Horses for sale are
offered on private treaty. Visit our sales

Trail Riding - Silver
Fiddle Ranch is located on the edge of the Sierra's, in the heart
of the Motherlode and close to USFS trails, lakes, rivers, skiing,
fishing, and all outdoor sports and activities. Trails are also located
on our ranch and off ranch with miles of trails meandering the Consumnes
River Canyon. Trail riding is available for boarders, clinic/workshop
